Where to dine with a view

Where to get the best views of London while dining.

seabird

Seabird

Seabird, located on the 14th floor of the new Hoxton Hotel in Southwark, has quickly become our new favourite rooftop hangout. The food is deliciously different (make sure to order the Octopus Roll!) and Mediterranean-inspired terrace boasts some of the best views of the city.

sushi samba

SUSHI SAMBA

For maximum “wow-factor”, head to Sushi Samba. The Japanese-Brazilian-Peruvian fusion restaurant on the 38th floor of Heron Tower offers stunning views of the City as well as delicious food and cocktails (albeit a bit overpriced).

duck waffle

duck & waffle

No matter the time of day, a visit to Duck & Waffle is always a good idea. Open 24 hours on the 39th floor of the Heron Tower, it’s officially London’s highest restaurant. Whether you’re there to catch the sunrise or for a night cap, make sure to order the iconic duck and waffle.

12th Know

12th knot

Go up to the 12th floor of the Sea Containers building and you’ll find the rooftop gem that is 12th Knot. Go on a Wednesday night for live music to accompany the skyline views.

mezemiso

mezemiso

If you’re looking for a more chilled out dinner with epic views of London, Mezemiso is your best bet. Mix and match plates from their Japanese and Lebanese menus (yes, they have two menus) and enjoy on their heated terrace.

bourne and hollingsworth

B&H garden rooms

Bourne & Hollingsworth Garden Rooms is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy panoramic views of London from the 10th floor.

oblix

oblix

Of course, this guide wouldn’t be complete without a mention of The Shard. Located on the 32nd floor, Oblix is an excellent choice for a luxurious dining experience with stunning views of London.
