The all-time favourites

The restaurants we keep going back to. Here’s our 2019 favourites.

bobs lobster

BOB’s Lobster hasn’t been open for very long but we’ve still managed to visit more times than we can count. The American seafood restaurant specialises in everything lobster - lobster rolls, lobster mac n’ cheese, lobster tail drenched in garlic butter… You get the idea.

temper

temper

We love everything about Temper in Covent Garden - from the deep pan pizzas topped with a whole ball of burrata to the buzzing open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. The perfect hideout when you want to get away from the usual Covent Garden tourist traps. .

ella canta

Ella Canta is THE place to go for authentic Mexican food and Margaritas. Located inside the InterContinental, it’s definitely on the swankier side and best reserved for special occasions or date nights.

kahani

Our go-to for a fancier curry night. Kahani is located just off Sloane Street and offers some of the best Indian food we’ve tried. Don’t miss out on the tandoori broccoli (seriously).

sticks n sushi

sticks’n’sushi

A long time LFB favourite, Sticks’n’Sushi is usually where we end up when we’re not sure where to go. We love their unusual sushi rolls and casual yet cool atmosphere.

lina stores

Lina Stores have been making their pasta by hand since 1944 in their iconic Italian Delicatessen shop in Soho and only recently opened up a restaurant next door. The plates are small, so take a seat at the counter and order several pasta dishes to share.
